Diploma in Nursing Extension HomeDiploma in Nursing Extension This is a 1 ½ years program targeting applicants who have Certificate level enrolled Midwives and Nurses wishing to advance their career.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DNE INCLUDE;
1:Registration with Nursing Council
2:Certificate in midwifery or Nursing
3:Valid Practicing License

1.One must have a two years working experience after qualification at certificate level. One must also have registered themselves with National Council.

Certificate in Midwifery

Joseph Kawooya School of Nursing and Midwifery offers Certificate in Nursing (CN ) for a period 2 ½ years examined by Uganda Nurses and Midwifery Examination.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

The minimum entry requirement for this program is an “O” Level Certificate with credits in the following subjects:

1.Mathematics
1.English
2.Biology
3.Chemistry
4.Physics.
